Set up varies by integration. In this guide, we detail the three primary setup buckets integrations fall into. Note that within the Integrations tab -> Set Up Integration, you can also find more detailed, integration-specific information (guide). Before plugging in your credentials to Muffin, please confirm you have access to the integration by navigating to the portal using the hyperlinks provided and inputting your credentials to the portals directly.
If you would like to set up a new integration but it is currently unavailable, please contact your CSM to enable the integration. If you have access to a retailer, distributor, or syndicated data portal but don't see it listed, please reach out and we can discuss supporting the integration.
Once you've entered credentials or completed key setup steps, always be sure to let your CSM know (or reach out via the chat, "?" in the top right of Muffin), so we can ensure the integration connects properly!
(1) Single Step: Integrations to set up via username & password
For these integrations, users will only need to enter their credentials into the respective integration (within "Set Up Integration"); Muffin will then process the connection.

(3a) Integrations to set up via email-forwarding & credentials
For these integrations, users will first need to set up email forwarding. Please refer to this guide to enable email-forwarding for Gmail or this guide for Microsoft Outlook.
Then, within the "Set Up Integration" you will add your email address, along with your portal credentials. Note that this address will be your brand email (e.g., @brandname.com, not your @email.muffindata.com).
Data will be ingested automatically when portal data is refreshed.
Retailers (source):
*Some brands have 2FA enabled for Instacart, requiring email forwarding; for brands that do not have 2FA enabled, this is not applicable.
(3b) Integrations to set up via direct email-forwarding of flat files or manual upload
For these integrations, users can set up email forwarding to ingest flat files (i.e., csv, excel) to your brandname@email.muffindata.com. Please refer to this guide to enable email-forwarding. Note that these flat files can also be downloaded and re-uploaded manually.
Distributors (portal name):
SPINS Store Insights (SPINS Store Insights)*
Rainforest (Rainforest Weekly Vendor Movement)
Dora's (Dora's Naturals Weekly Shipments)

*Note that for SPINS Store Insights, most users find it easiest to directly upload a file when SPINS data is refreshed every 4 weeks (guide). Total download time from SPINS and re-upload to Muffin is usually <2 mins, once the SPINS report is configured.
